No more visas for Albania and Israel

TIRANA, July 28 – The new deal on issuing no visas for all Albanian and Israeli citizens came into power last Sunday following the agreement signed last October.
This agreement is an expression of the bilateral will of the Albanian and Israeli governments to strengthen relations in all the spheres, according to a statement.
Tirana and Jerusalem have always had good relations as the Jewish community was not only supported but hidden by Albanians during the World War II time when they were persecuted by the Nazis. (Tirana Times Staff)
