TIRANA, Jan. 18 – Dritan Prifti on Tuesday renewed his accusation of corruption against Ilir Meta, also directing his criticizing arrows against the government calling it the most corrupted and the “integration government of thieves.”
Prifti held a news conference Tuesday to boast of his act as an historic one and determined to continue denouncing corruption if he would be supported by the prosecutor’s office too. That meant that he feared his life and that of his family.
He called Meta as the most corrupt person on Albanian soil adding that he had ready a set of files with the corruption moves he had made at the Economy Ministry he had taken since last September and also report on his properties and participation on businesses.
Prifti also said that he had political and legal responsibility for all the bugging videos.
Prifti said he belonged to the opposition but not specifically to the Socialist Party.
“My mission is to release Albanians from the fear to speak,” he said.
Prifti also called on Berisha to immediately break up the coalition with Meta’s LSI and go to fresh elections.
