“Protect and promote,” a travelling photo exhibit

TIRANA, Aug. 7 – Alfred Tagani has been announced the winner of the “Protect and Promote” photo exhibition. The photographer was awarded the first prize for his “Gallery of Lost Art Picture” and a symbolic Euro 300 prize.
The exhibition will also travel to Shkodra, Berat and Gjirokastra. The ten shortlisted pictures will be displayed at the EU Info Centre in Tirana until August 20.
Protect and Promote is the slogan of the photographic search that expresses and communicates the Albanian identity through youth’s artistic perception of cultural heritage who use their camera lenses to artistically focus public attention on various problems that accompany our cultural identity. The winning photos are part of the travelling exhibition around Albania and will be published in the coming issues of the periodic magazine Art & Trashegimi.
