TIRANA, March 17 – Interior Minister Bujar Nishani took part last week in the inauguration of the rehabilitated road segment in northern Albania.
Two road segments were rehabilitated, the Barbullush-Hoten road and the first section of Bushat leading to the main road. The Barbullush-Hoten segment runs three kilometers and some 22 million leks were spent on its rehabilitation. Authorities spent 15 million leks for the other 1.2 kilometer segment.
Work also started on the rehabilitation of Zall Herr road with 52 million leks. The 3.6 kilometer segment is scheduled to be completed by the end of this summer. Zall Herr is also the place where the army has a unit which trains Albanian soldiers sent to peacekeeping missions in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq.
