Study shows Korca field needs $6 mln investment for irrigation

TIRANA, Nov. 21 – A meeting of the Agriculture Ministry and the World Bank focused on the irrigation situation of the Korca field. A study showed that an urgent investment was needed to keep the field at shape. Such investment is normal in the field every 20-25 years. The last one was made in 1981 and now the field has fallen up to four meters because of floods.
