Government to register all employees

TIRANA, Sept. 2 – Vice Finance Minister Florian Mima said that the government authorities have started an effort to try to register all the employees working in all the companies in the country in an effort to fight black labor and make them earn social and health insurance and other services. Starting from Sept. 1 authorities have started a great action countrywide to register any employee. They would also penalize those employers and self-employed who did not declare their earnings.
Mima also said that until August there was noticed a different better ay of behavior of the businesses referring to their tax payments compared to last year. He said the government earned 1,1 billion leks more in August than the figure planned for that period.
