TIRANA, Oct. 18 – Swiss and Dutch foreign direct investment in Albania have registered a sharp increase in the past couple of years thanks to two major energy-related foreign direct investment which are being channeled through these countries. Data published by Albania’s central bank shows the Swiss FDI stock to Albania grew by six times in the past couple of years, climbing to €647 million at the end of the first half of 2017, up from a mere €98 million in mid-2015.
