Beer Fest, ‘In August all roads lead you to Korca’

TIRANA, Aug 9 – “In August all roads lead you to Korca” This is the motto of this year’s edition of the Beer Fest in the southeastern city of Korca from where Albanian and foreign breweries will offer their products to the public in open air facilities for five days. Scheduled for August 15 to 19 2012, Beer Fest will mark the climax of the tourist season in Kor衮 Following the success of its previous organizations in the past five years, the Beer Fest comes in its 6th edition improved in compound components. Under the slogan “In August all roads lead you to Korca” the Municipality of Kor衠aims at making it an annual event that progresses increasingly awakening the life of the city, promoting its values and making it more attractive to national and international tourists.
The concept for the beer festival began in 2007, continuing in full throughout the following years in all its components. Besides the festival concept and complete package that it offers (infrastructure, participation, show, decorative elements, etc), organizers have used a communications and promotion strategy that has directed the Kor衠beer festival to an unconditional success.
Beer Fest has become, in this manner, a fixed date in calendars, drawing national and international attention.
Birra Korca, the local brewery, produces a Blonde Ale Pilsner and a Dark Pilsner.
