TIRANA, Dec. 4 – The winners of the second national youth piano competition will hold a concert this weekend at the University of Arts. The concert organized by the Frederic Chopin Association and the Polish embassy in Tirana is scheduled to be held on Dec. 6 at 19.00 at the performance hall of the University of Arts.
The Chopin Association in Albania, headed by pianist Anita Tartari, arranges the annual concerts of Chopin’s music. The Association was particularly engaged in 2010 – the Year of Chopin. It also organized in Albania the international Chopin Competition based on the Warsaw competition model and six other events.
