TIRANA, Nov. 14 – The Kalo gallery is marking its first anniversary as the newest art gallery in Tirana with its fourth exhibition. Artworks by Albanian artists but also from German, Austrian, French, Croatian, Kosovo and even Australian artists will be on display in the Transparency exhibition scheduled to open on Nov. 20.
Launched on Nov. 2014, the Kalo gallery came as a natural step after several years of artwork collection by renowned Albanian lawyer Pà«rparim Kalo.
During its one year operation, the gallery has featured the “Power of Red,” “People” “Split Canvas” exhibitions, becoming a new contemporary space in Albania’s cultural life.
