TIRANA, Oct 1 – A research study from a non-governmental organization showed that there could be up to 30,000 regular users of drugs among Albanians and one third are 15-17 year old teenagers.
The study was conducted at Tirana’s gymnasiums, high schools in a project titled Live Healthy by AYNEL organization.
Most of the teenagers acknowledged in a poll they had tried hashish at least once.
Teenagers are also great consumers of alcohol.
Albania has a young population with about 40 percent under 19 years old.
