TIRANA, Aug. 4 – Rising U.K.-based pop star of Kosovo origin will be giving two concerts in her hometown of Prishtina and Tirana in the next few days in much-awaited performances especially in Kosovo where she will launch her art and culture charity.
“I’m so excited to announce I’ll be adding another date while I’m in the motherland Prishtina/Kosovo and also heading down to Tirana/Albania on the 10th of August for a show!! I’m ready so I hope you are too!” Dua Lipa writes.
The Prishtina concert will also serve to raise the first funds for her charity.
“Sunny Hill Foundation is a charity I’ve created that focuses on helping the Kosovo society in different aspects, especially in arts and culture,” she says.
The Tirana concert will be held at the Mother Teresa square.
Born in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents, 20-year-old Dua Lipa has recently released her “Hotter than hell” single which follows previously released “New Love,” “Be the One” and “Last Dance.”
Smoky of voice and sultry of photo, Dua Lipa looks and sounds like a pop star in waiting, the BBC writes.
