Albanian cell phone users to pay less, 4th operator soon

TIRANA, Sep 1 – Transport Minister Sokol Olldashi reported Monday that all Albanians would pay 20 percent less for their use of the mobile phones starting from mid-September following new tariffs imposed from the government.
The minister also said they had become everything ready to open the international tender for the fourth GMS mobile phone operator.
Albania has three operators: AMC, Vodafone and Eagle Mobile, in a total of 2.5 users.
