TIRANA, Oct. 4 – The central Bank of Albania said in its last report that annual inflation in August was 3.1 percent, which is only 0.12 percent higher than the bank’s goal. The bank said that inflation has had an increasing trend in the eight months this year. Macro-economic developments have been affected by higher prices in electricity, oil and some other products with excise. But it adds that inflationist pressure has been moderate. The aggregate demand has been fed from the fast crediting of economy though the low fiscal stimulus has preserved such levels.
