Deal with Greek customs office in Epirus

KAKAVIE, Sept. 27 – Albanian head of the customs department Perparim Dervishi signed Wednesday a letter of understanding with his counterpart of the Epirus prefecture neighboring southern Albanian border crossing of Kakavie in the context of the INTERG III of the CARDS program. The agreement was signed at the Kakavie border crossing with the Greek official Dimitros Boltoyiannis. The Greek side expressed the will to invest in different projects to improve the service on the Albanian side. The deal will also include investment in the other crossing point of Qafe Bota that would considerably help release much of the traffic from Kakavie.
