Greece’s Titan Cement asks to build a cement plant in Albania

TIRANA, Oct. 10 – The Greek Company Titan Cement has filed an application to Albanian authorities to obtain a license to build a cement plant. Titan already exports cement to Albania and owns two cement plants in the neighboring countries of Serbia and Macedonia. It has also production facilities in Bulgaria and Macedonia, and wants to expand its Balkan presence in the Albanian market where cement demand is growing rapidly.
