TIRANA, Oct. 5 – The Agriculture Ministry reported Thursday that prices of food products had fallen 54 percent in September compared to a month ago. Prices of the main products like grain were 1 percent less while vegetables had up to 10 percent decrease. Milk price was o.2 percent higher while that of cheese 0.4 percent lower and the yellow cheese 1 percent lower. Cow and lamb price was 1 percent lower while that of veal and poultry 2 percent lower. Pork had a 4 percent hike. Experts said that the domestic products had a good supply for the local market and that was reflected with lower prices for the products.
