TIRANA, Dec. 21 – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama made open criticism to the European Union for not granting the visa-free regime for Kosovo citizens, “the only one isolated” in the Western Balkans region by the European bloc.

Speaking to the diplomats in Tirana Rama hailed the last step from Brussels on giving another push to the Kosovo visa-free regime with setting another set of requests.

He also said that, “(he) hoped that will open the way to Kosovo to give an end to the absurd in Europe as a very small population is held due to the isolation coming from the visa.”

Rama then harshly denounced such a fact.

“It is a great shame which Europe cannot bear so long as it is isolation suffered not only from the Kosovo people but also the region and wider.”

Rama also called on the Kosovo government and people to work more on fulfilling the criteria and fulfill their dream, a good step in its integration with the bloc.
