TIRANA, Nov. 2 – Twelve Albanian art personalities have been honoured in the seventh edition of the Kult Awards organized by Kult Magazine in a ceremony held last weekend in Tirana. Eftiola Lacka grabbed the best actress prize for her starring role in “Six characters in search of an author, while Bujar Asqeriu was announced the actor of the year for his performance in the “Wrong Dinner” drama adapted from Ismail Kadere’s book under the same title.
The best visual art prize went to painter Pashk Pervathi for his successful exhibition at the National Art Gallery in Tirana. Internationally renowned soprano Inva Mula grabbed the best lyrical performer award for her starring role in “The Tales of Hoffmann.” The first prize for best research and encyclopedia book was awarded to historian Pellumb Xhufi for his “Shekulli i Voskopojes” (Voskopoja century) book
Some 48 artists had been nominated for this year’s edition of the Kult Awards.
