Kosovo artist in audiovisual performance in Tirana

TIRANA, May 12 – Tirana was the next stop of Kosovo contemporary Alban Nimani who performed at the National Art Gallery his latest audiovisual performance using influences of new media in content art. Nimani who had previously performed his show in famous modern art festivals such as in Cape Town, Mexico City, Rome, Bari and Lubjana, made a live performance at the National Art Gallery on Tuesday, May 13.
E Bardhe (The White) has been conceived as a construction of space grounding music, art, design, light sculptures and modern dance into a architectural link that transmits love.
An alliance is made between visual artists, DJs, musicians, artists, modern dancers and new media designers.
Half Prishtina and half Tirana based audio/visual artist Alban Nimani experiments with visual arts and music creating a link between all genres of music and art. With a background in multimedia and alternative music, his live performances combine minimal electronic sounds and real-time processing between lights, sound, visuals and modern dance.
Alban Nimani was also the co-founder of the acclaimed band Asgje Sikur Dielli and has performed and exhibited in many of the region’s most prestigious spaces and events. He has also won a number of highly regarded prizes for alternative music and art.
