TIRANA, March 21 – A tragic comedy written by Albania’s Ruzhdi Pulaha and directed by renowned Kosovo actor and director Enver Petrovci will make its premiere on Friday, March 22 at the Teatri i Metropolit private theatre in Tirana. The tragic comedy is very coherent with both the author and director making an effort to attract the public through one of the few Albanian dramas put on stage.
“The hunour does not focus on the issues and drama the characters experience but on the way how they perceive their worries. This is the comic side of the drama,” said author Pulaha.
Actor and director Petrvci who is Kosovo’s most popular stage artist in Albania says the Albanian theatre must focus more on Albanian written pieces.
“Hajdutja e Bukur” (The beautiful thief) concentrates on the relationship of an Albanian couple and their family. Natasha Sela, Kastrot Ramollari and Doriana Caushi star in the tragic comedy.
